A Story: From here to eternity

There was a boy and a girl
In a small town, where roads were rough
No fairness cream for their fragile skins
A beautiful mix of sun tan and brown hair
Luxury for them, was to spend entire day together
Sitting on river side, throwing pebbles creating tides
Never thought, of what’s outside
They had a beautiful world inside

He would wrap his hands around her neck
Pull her sideways to kiss her cheeks
She would close her eyes to let the feeling sink in
Allowing it to run through her veins
And let it settle deep within

Often staring at each other, ending up in a smile
Or in their playful stubbornness would look so deep,
Waiting for tears to drop
They would often wonder, how much they love each other
So much so they were clues of what to do with their feelings
There was no doubts in their mind of what they felt
It was just pure magic

They would sneak out of their home at night
Hold each other’s hand tight, to get rid of fright
He would take her to the beach
They would dig their feet in the cold sand
As it settles between their fingers
To massage them
Sometimes they would discuss on
How different stars were from each other
Or how far was the moon

Mostly they would dance all night
His hands on her waist
Her head resting on his chest
They would swing and sway
With music in the air and rhythmic tides
Moon shining like a spotlight

As the night would end
They would rush back
Collecting sea shell
One, for every time they met
Break it into half and promise
Promise,
That someday as they grow old
They would spent time
Connecting those shells together
And built something beautiful out of it
