Angelic….

At night,
Her eyes would lit
Like a million candles in it
Her scent blending with her aura
Creating a celestial vibe around her
Transmitting positivity
To anyone in her frequency

As she speaks,
Every letter would split up
And hit your ears in a rhythm
That’s makes u hooked up
With sound of her voice
Subtly piercing your soul
Breaking down barriers, you hold

She is like a magnet, to lost ones
No matter how hard
You try to escape
Or hide your disbelief’s
She has powers to breathe in
Your anxiety
And get u high
With numbness so addictive

She lets down her hair
In a way, forcing stars to
Question their sanity
Leaving them startled
Of how beautiful
Someone could be
As they crave, to rest inside her
Gifting virgin sky to lonely moon

She would sketch your shadow
With every scars inside you
Garnish in a way
Reflecting part of you,
That you never knew

She is that lost word,
Spinning inside your mind
That doesn’t want to spill out
She is a sum-up of all that feelings
That are yet to be discovered
By earthlings
She is a mystery, we all need

A Wait – That made time give-up…..

Many seasons passed by
Sun and moon had
Risen and fallen a thousand times
She knew, she was waiting
Waiting for all the wrong reasons

Every day, as sun readies itself to set
She would stroll on a dusty road
Surrounded by meadows over grown
Wearing a Black gown sliding on the ground
Flying gently like a dry leaf in the air
Creating rhythmic waves
She would walk barefoot,
A black thread tied on her right leg
Her foot trails, beautiful
Like a pathway to her soul

She would stop on the same spot, every single day
Spot, where once promises were made
Closing her eyes, taking deep breath
She would time travel
Feel the same feelings again
Touch of his lips on her forehead
Sound of his voice, whispering promises
Goosebumps on her body, gracing like tidal waves
It would lit-up candle of hope
Only time, her wandering mind
Would find peace and remain at ease

Over the time, she had many followers
On-looker thought, she had lost it all
Some would say, that’s what true love is
Some would sympathize
As her waiting was never ending

One fine day, a lady couldn’t stop herself from asking
Why do you wait, every single day since ages?
Isn’t it painful?
She replied, “What would you do?
When your mind is ready to move on
But your soul is already married to someone you love?
It doesn’t matter, how broken your heart is
If you still believe in beauty of it
It means your love is true
And that’s all that matters

A Story: From here to eternity

There was a boy and a girl
In a small town, where roads were rough
No fairness cream for their fragile skins
A beautiful mix of sun tan and brown hair
Luxury for them, was to spend entire day together
Sitting on river side, throwing pebbles creating tides
Never thought, of what’s outside
They had a beautiful world inside

He would wrap his hands around her neck
Pull her sideways to kiss her cheeks
She would close her eyes to let the feeling sink in
Allowing it to run through her veins
And let it settle deep within

Often staring at each other, ending up in a smile
Or in their playful stubbornness would look so deep,
Waiting for tears to drop
They would often wonder, how much they love each other
So much so they were clues of what to do with their feelings
There was no doubts in their mind of what they felt
It was just pure magic

They would sneak out of their home at night
Hold each other’s hand tight, to get rid of fright
He would take her to the beach
They would dig their feet in the cold sand
As it settles between their fingers
To massage them
Sometimes they would discuss on
How different stars were from each other
Or how far was the moon

Mostly they would dance all night
His hands on her waist
Her head resting on his chest
They would swing and sway
With music in the air and rhythmic tides
Moon shining like a spotlight

As the night would end
They would rush back
Collecting sea shell
One, for every time they met
Break it into half and promise
Promise,
That someday as they grow old
They would spent time
Connecting those shells together
And built something beautiful out of it

Maverick….

It feels we all are sleepwalking
Backwards on a thin string
With a blindfold
Carrying everything we cling

I see eyes full of hope, praying
Minds full of fear, preaching
People circling around
Looking skyward,
For someone to appear
May be with,
A white robe and a beard
Making their Worries disappear

Like million ants, they stand
Hoping for a stone to bless
And clear all their mess
I just wish,
They could hold hands
To fight against devils play
Instead of, joining hands to pray

Hoping is the easiest way it seems
In the time, when books for studies
Are killing dreams
Cracks in our thoughts
Are not to be filled
Our bad conscience has no more guilt

Its fashion to pretend
That’s the modern trend
Dare, walk against the tide
There are million hands that apprehend
Killing the spark before it begins

So all I got to say,
Life is ours, create it
Built it beautifully,
We have earned it
Spread love coz we miss it
Kiss goodbye to your troubles
Before its time to pop life’s bubble

Road Ahead ….

Illusion seems soothing
Reality feels confusing
Is a feeling, I feel
As I walk the wicked street
What’s amusing? Is a little something
Hitting my ears,
Like a sweet sound of wind
Oh! And that fear creeps in
Feels like a warning
Take a step back, it whispers
As I look around, it disappears
What should I do? Asks my hesitance
Keep moving on or take a step back?
Mystery ahead, seems to be lending something
A helping hand it seems
Trust me! It sings
Free you mind, be a wandering soul
Let’s stroll through the unknowns
Mount the mazy hill
Use your wits
To pass through those twists
And see for yourself, what’s in the end
A foe or a friend to be with

Her eyes…

Her eyes could speak
A thousand words, in a blink
Her depth so scary
Yet
an attraction to seek
And
If you dare to plunge in deep
Be ready to loose yourself
It’s the only way in
Swim through her tears
Pass by
her floating fears
And
If you find a way, in her darkness
Or a passage to fit in
Rest for a while, it isn’t a sin
As it’s yet to be seen
who dwells in her for long
The one who belongs
Sensing
There’s s no way to leave

My kind of love….

I don’t want paper love
Coupled with staples
Easy to pluck with something edgy
Then what?

We are shattered
And our scars scattered
All over, like water on a slippery floor
As we re-visit our
Self-destructive mode

I want to melt like a metal
Dissolve in you
With an inseparable knot
It doesn’t come easy, isn’t it?

It’s painful and discomforting
With wounds all over us
Eternal marks that will sting our egos
No matter how rusty and messy it is
It will at least put an end
To our fickle emotions

As we lock our love in a shell
And drown it deep within our souls

Little things I wish……

Hold on to me
Like a blind men’s stick
Carrying the world over with he’s varying dreams
Let the Sunbeams slide on your face kissing cheeks
As your brown eyes glow
Like firefly on a full moon eve
Caressing your neckline
Scattering your scent of ecstasy
Is the only thing, fleeting breeze seeks
As you stroll by the beach, digging feet in the sand
Waves reach for you like its lonesome reveries
Trying to figure out, are you for real or a celestial myth?
Lay by the riverside at night with me
Between million candles around to lit
Listen to the chirping of cricket
Relaxing under the meadow
As it buzzes songs of how exquisite life is
I wish I could stop the world from circling
Or beg the moonless night
For a while to stay
Until
We finish counting stars in the Milky Way

A Café story….

There was a guy sitting in a café
With an important agenda for the day
As it was clear in his anxious ways
Waiting for someone, more dearer
Seldom looking in his phone, maybe she was late
Took a deep breath to put a normal face
Helpless to stop his feet tapping
Eagerness in his eyes and moving lips
May be self-talking before he spill the beans
A waiter standing beside him with his reluctance
To ask third time, what would he like to eat?
A girl sitting on an adjacent bench
Her hair tied up with a pen
Hand on her head to rest
And other holding a book she read
Relishing the pleasant aroma of coffee steams
Hitting her nose like a soothing wind
With cross eyes and a smug smile
She saw his obvious curiousness
Took a tissue and wrote a note
As her hair felt down like a rain drop
Falling in a rhythm, covering her side face
As it was about time to solve this curious case
Handed over note to a waiter
Pointing towards the anxious guy
After a while,
Excited waiter with a proud smile
Gave her a thumbs up sign
She had a glance at him
As he was busy reading
Upon finishing
Held note on his chest with a relief
I guess Beans were spilled
As he looked around for her
There she was
With deep breath and smile on his face
He blinked
Tying her hair back up again with a pen
She winked

Beauty within

Your eyelids had a morning dew
Like a gem it glew
Too good to be true
Carrying a story, only few knew
With aching heart and healing soul
Life had its own plan to unfold
You had your share of ups and downs
Spiraling through the dusks and dawns
Like a beautiful tree holding ground
Shedding leaves on autumn fall
Breaking through the darkest walls
There is beauty in your fight, after all
Like an angel without wings
Seeing beauty in every being
Spreading love with hopes and dreams
Turning pain into inspiration
Carved yourself with creative ink
For eyes to adore without blink
A journey that makes you think
Scars can heal
If we find beauty within
