My kind of love….

I don’t want paper love
Coupled with staples
Easy to pluck with something edgy
Then what?

We are shattered
And our scars scattered
All over, like water on a slippery floor
As we re-visit our
Self-destructive mode

I want to melt like a metal
Dissolve in you
With an inseparable knot
It doesn’t come easy, isn’t it?

It’s painful and discomforting
With wounds all over us
Eternal marks that will sting our egos
No matter how rusty and messy it is
It will at least put an end
To our fickle emotions

As we lock our love in a shell
And drown it deep within our souls

You and Me …..

I’ll stick with you and let the world move on
As you hold me tight in all my meltdowns
I know you do, what it takes
To crack pass through my walls
Push me, to get my act straight
As my head busts with fleeting moments of despair
Mostly stuck in an elevated space
Trying not to look down and land on my face
It’s seems all these years, I have been playing it safe
Nurturing demons feeding on my strains
So wrap your arms around me like you always do
Cover me up when I am feeling blue
Whisper in my ears, tales of love that’s true
Let those words sink inside of me
Let them wander inch by inch
Hunting fears that reside in me
Consoling my restless soul
Reminding my heart to be free
Be by my side on this journey
For I don’t know, where life may lead
Take me away from this scene
To live life
Where it’s just
You and me

Little things I wish……

Hold on to me
Like a blind men’s stick
Carrying the world over with he’s varying dreams
Let the Sunbeams slide on your face kissing cheeks
As your brown eyes glow
Like firefly on a full moon eve
Caressing your neckline
Scattering your scent of ecstasy
Is the only thing, fleeting breeze seeks
As you stroll by the beach, digging feet in the sand
Waves reach for you like its lonesome reveries
Trying to figure out, are you for real or a celestial myth?
Lay by the riverside at night with me
Between million candles around to lit
Listen to the chirping of cricket
Relaxing under the meadow
As it buzzes songs of how exquisite life is
I wish I could stop the world from circling
Or beg the moonless night
For a while to stay
Until
We finish counting stars in the Milky Way

A Café story….

There was a guy sitting in a café
With an important agenda for the day
As it was clear in his anxious ways
Waiting for someone, more dearer
Seldom looking in his phone, maybe she was late
Took a deep breath to put a normal face
Helpless to stop his feet tapping
Eagerness in his eyes and moving lips
May be self-talking before he spill the beans
A waiter standing beside him with his reluctance
To ask third time, what would he like to eat?
A girl sitting on an adjacent bench
Her hair tied up with a pen
Hand on her head to rest
And other holding a book she read
Relishing the pleasant aroma of coffee steams
Hitting her nose like a soothing wind
With cross eyes and a smug smile
She saw his obvious curiousness
Took a tissue and wrote a note
As her hair felt down like a rain drop
Falling in a rhythm, covering her side face
As it was about time to solve this curious case
Handed over note to a waiter
Pointing towards the anxious guy
After a while,
Excited waiter with a proud smile
Gave her a thumbs up sign
She had a glance at him
As he was busy reading
Upon finishing
Held note on his chest with a relief
I guess Beans were spilled
As he looked around for her
There she was
With deep breath and smile on his face
He blinked
Tying her hair back up again with a pen
She winked

He said She said – II

He: It’s a fancy restaurant
She: Yes but why are people acting so formal?
He: Everyone is pretending to be someone they are not
She: so are you pretending too?
He: Sometimes …..
She: what you mean sometimes?
He: I pretend to like you but deep down I am head over heels for you
I pretend to be strong as a men but truth is I need you like every single second of my life
She: So I am your oxygen?
He: No Carbon dioxide hahaha
He: You look beautiful tonight, especially those eyes
She: What about my eyes?
He: They are deep, mysterious, shinny and stunning..
She: May be it’s the lighting arrangements here,
You make unreal things sound like they are real, you are good at it
He: You know what’s real?
She: What?
He: You can’t look into your eyes the way I look at them
She: I look into my eyes in the mirror and they seem normal
He: Mirror is just a reflection, when my eyes look at yours it’s a connection
An invisible string that pulls me closer to you every time I look at you
It’s like diving deep into ocean, it’s beautiful and scary at the same time.
She: Scary?
He: When you dive deep and look around in the ocean is beautiful but when you think of what’s behind you it scares you
She: You have a complex mind that can flatter any women, you should be a Poet
He: Try and leave me once
I Promise I’ll be the best one

Beauty within

Your eyelids had a morning dew
Like a gem it glew
Too good to be true
Carrying a story, only few knew
With aching heart and healing soul
Life had its own plan to unfold
You had your share of ups and downs
Spiraling through the dusks and dawns
Like a beautiful tree holding ground
Shedding leaves on autumn fall
Breaking through the darkest walls
There is beauty in your fight, after all
Like an angel without wings
Seeing beauty in every being
Spreading love with hopes and dreams
Turning pain into inspiration
Carved yourself with creative ink
For eyes to adore without blink
A journey that makes you think
Scars can heal
If we find beauty within

Messed up beauty…

Embracing her deceased feelings
She watched the sun go down
With every descend,
Sky would lit up
With shades of yellow and brown
She felt part of her, cracking
Like someone stepped over a dry leaf
Betraying herself, inch by inch
They say
Beauty of a rose is,
It has thorns to protect its rosy petals
What if? Those petals were covered with thorns all over
Would it be beautiful then?
She was that kind of beauty
Covered with spikes all over her spine
Battling it out every day without a whine
Waiting for someone equally wrecked
Someone hollow from within
Messed up like she was
Ready to go through pain of loving her
But
Out of all the misery, she still hoped
To be loved
For she knew,
It was the only thing that could set her free
